20Day 1: Yangon
Welcome to Yangon, largest city and former capital of Myanmar.
On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Check into the hotel and get freshen up.
In afternoon we will visit ChaukHtat Kyi Pagoda which has a 65 meters long reclining Buddha image and Buddha's feet have 108 unique symbols that represent the former lives of Buddha before attaining the Enlightenment.
Then visit Shwedagon Pagoda, the important landmark of city and believed to be the most sacred Pagoda in all of Myanmar.
At the end of the day visit Scott Market also known as Bogyoke market, one of the oldest markets in the country.
Indulge In shopping as it offers a wide range of food, clothes, and handicraft and gem stores.
Relax yourself with a cup of tea at Rangoon Tea house.
Day 2: Yangon – Bago - Yangon (Distance – 140 Km)
Today, after breakfast; proceed to Bago, the ancient capital of Mon Kingdom.
Visit Kya Khat Wine Monastery, one of the three largest monasteries and observe the life of monks.
Also visit one of the sacred sites, Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda where within its core are two genuine hair relics of the Buddha conveyed here in ancient times from India. Get mesmerized to see the Kanbawzathadi Palace – a golden palace in ancient land of Bago.
After lunch visit Shwe Thar Lyaung pagoda which dates back to 994 AD and Kyaik-Pun pagoda with four huge seated Buddha Images in the open air.
En-route to Yangon, pay a visit to HtaukKyant Alliance WWII cemetery, memorial cemetery of Allied Soldiers who died in Myanmar Campaign during the WWII.
Day 3: Yangon
It’s time to get ready for your return journey.
You will be transferred to the airport after breakfast.
