20Day 1: Karwar
Welcome to karwar – Karwar is a port city in the South Indian state of Karnataka.
On arrival check into hotel and in afternoon visit INS Chapal Warship Museum. INS Chapal is a missile warship and was used in the 1971 Indo - Pak war and now converted into a museum to display sea-artefacts.
In afternoon, proceed for Karwar Aquarium.
In evening relax at Karwar Beach, the long stretch of golden sands and also a confluence of River Kali with sea.
Day 2: Karwar – Dandeli (Distance - 105 Km)
Continue your journey to Dandeli today, fondly known as “The adventure Capital of South India”. Explore the unseen world of crocodiles.
Visit Crocodile Park where you can see these giants in their natural habitat. Sykes Point is a famous viewpoint in the city; you can see an amazing view of entire valley.
Day 3: Dandeli
Today let your adrenaline rush takes over your fear as you will enjoy adventure water sports like river rafting, kayaking, zorbing and many more.
You can enjoy Coracle ride, the traditional round boat used for river navigation.
After having fun filled time rest of the day is yours at leisure.
Day 4: Dandeli – Sahasralinga – Sirsi (Distance – 110 Km)
After breakfast, proceed to Sirsi. On the way visit Sahasralinga –a pilgrimage place, and as name suggests it has thousand lingas carved on the rocks of the river Shalmala.
Then visit Shri Marikamba Temple, built in 16th century and dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple has very special paintings of murals in Kaavi art, on both sides of its walls.
Day 5: Sirsi – Jog Falls – Murudeshwar (Distance – 160 Km)
After breakfast proceed to one of the famous water fall in India “Jog Falls” and enjoy breathtaking views of fall.
Jog falls is the second highest waterfall in India. Also enjoy panoramic views of the hills as you will advance to Murudeshwar.
On arrival check into hotel and then proceed to visit Murudeshwar Temple and also see the second tallest Lord Shiva Statue, surrounded by the Arabian Sea.
You can take a stroll around the stretch of green lawns which houses many life sized statues.
Day 6: Murudeshwar – Gokarna - Bhatkal (Distance - 50 Km)
Post Breakfast, proceed to Gokarna, the land lined with palm trees, blue seas and golden sands.
On arrival visit Sri Mahabaleshwar Temple, known as the Dakshin Kashi and represents the Dravidian architectural style.
Then visit Om Beach which got its name as two semi-crescent shapes that join together resembling the Hindu religious symbol of Om.
You can enjoy various water sports activities like boating, surfing, water-skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides.
At the end of the day proceed to Bhatkal for your return journey.
