20Day 1: Paro – Phuentsholing (Distance – 150 km)
Welcome to Paro, a valley town in Bhutan with many sacred sites and historical buildings scattered through the area.
On arrival proceed directly to Phuentsholing, a town in Bhutan that provides clean, green and safe environment.
Rest of the day is yours at leisure.
Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimpu (Distance – 150 km)
After breakfast, proceed to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan.
On arrival check in to the hotel and relax.
In the evening, visit Tashichho Dzong view point from where you can see the beautiful King’s Palace.
Later you can roam around the Thimphu market.
Day 3: Thimpu
Welcome to Thimphu, known as the heart of Bhutan and "Third Highest Capital of the World".
After breakfast visit Buddha Dordenma, a giant golden Shakyamuni Buddha gold-plated statue.
Also see the Memorial Chorten (Monument), a place that would give you an insight into Buddhism through its great artwork, wall carvings and marvelous sculptures. Get an insight into the culture of Bhutan under one roof in Folk Heritage Museum.
In the later part of the day, visit simply Bhutan, a one-of-its kind "living" museum, visitors get to enjoy the Bhutanese songs, folk dances.
Then see a Sangaygang View Point, surrounded by lush green pine forest and colorful prayer flags, it offers a fantastic view of the entire Thimphu city.
Before that see a Tashichho Dzong view point from where you can see the beautiful King’s Palace.
Day 4: Thimpu – Punakha / Wangdue (Distance – 80 km)
After breakfast, we leave to permit office to get the permits for Punakha made.
On the way Stop at Dachu-La-Pass (3150 mts.) to view the higher Himalayas.
After reaching Punakha, we visit the The Punakha Dzong which was named after Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness).
Afterwards visit the suspension bridge followed by local lunch.
Rest of the day free for leisure.
Overnight stay will be at Punakha.
Day 5: Punakha – Paro (Distance – 120 km)
Continue your journey to Paro after breakfast.
On the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park – The park contains a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna and features a huge species of plants and animals including endangered species.
On arrival check in at the hotel.
Afternoon visit Paro Local market by walking to enjoy your evening in leisure.
Day 6: Paro
After breakfast, hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery - called “Tiger’s Nest”.
Located 900 meters above the upper cliff in the Paro Valley, this monastery is undoubtedly an architectural marvel.
Later visit Drukgyel Dzong, a fortress which was built in 1649 to mark the victory of Bhutan over Tibet and now a UNESCO structure.
Also visit Kyichu Monastery, a beautiful monastery, also known as Lho Kyerchu or Kyerchu Temple, built in 7th century.
Day 7: Paro
After breakfast check out from your hotel and leave for airport for your onward journey.
As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene kingdom linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.

In case of non-payment of the full tour cost or above mentioned cost before seven days of the departure, Duri Holidays reserves the right to cancel the tour imposing cancellation charges for the same.
