20Day 1: Colombo - Kandy
Welcome to Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon and the land where the great battle fought between Lord Rama and Ravana.
On arrival to Colombo, you will be transferred to the hotel in Kandy from airport. Check into hotel and relax.
Rest of the day is yours at leisure. Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhala kings whose patronage enabled the Dinahala culture to flourish for more than 2,500 years.
Later we will go to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a place of compassion where orphan and abandoned elephants are adopted. The playfulness of little elephants will melt your heart.
Then we will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. What makes it the countries most sacred place is it houses the tooth of Lord Buddha.
Later stroll through the complex and see the cascading beauty of Kandy Lake.
Rest of the day is yours at leisure. Explore the night life of this happening city.
Day 2: Kandy –Nuwara Eliya
Today, check out from hotel after breakfast and visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden, spread across 147 acres of land with thousands of species of plants.
Feel the freshness in air and calm your mind as you walk through the beautiful lush green landscapes and tree lines.
Then we will proceed to Nuwara Eliya, also known as the Little England due to its pleasant climate and many colonial era buildings.
En route we will pay a visit to Bhakta Hanuman Temple a sacred site from Ramayana. It is believed to be the place where Lord Hanuman searched for Sita in the jungles above and behind the temple.
Also visit a tea factory, a heaven for tea lovers where your heart melts with lush greenery and heavenly aroma of tea.
On arrival check into hotel and relax.
Day 3: Nuwara Eliya
Let’s explore why this beauty is called Little England.
We will start day with blessings at Seeta Amman Temple, the only temple in country dedicated to Goddess Sita. It is important Ramayana site where foot prints of Lord Hanuman’s can be seen even today close to the stream.
Later visit Gregory Lake to enjoy a serene ambience with activities to do around.
Visit Victoria Park, a perfect place to stroll to calm your mind and enjoy the exotic flora and fauna it offers.
Later at evening you will visit Bale Bazaar and refresh your wardrobe with shopping for your loved ones.
Day 4: Nuwara Eliya - Bentota
After breakfast we will continue our journey to Bentota, a popular weekend gateway graced by palm trees that run along the golden beaches and serene atmosphere.
On arrival check into hotel and freshen up.
Later we will go to Ambalangoda, a small picturesque town known for its antiques and devil masks.
Take a stroll and observe the life of locals.
Day 5: Bentota
Get ready to see the colorful life of the beautiful destination.
We will head for a river boat safari which will take you through mangrove forests with hundreds of species of plants and wildlife.
One can get a chance to spot a crocodiles in their natural habitat.
Later proceed to the turtle hatchery, a turtle rehabilitation center where you can handle and feed turtle.
Rest of the day is yours to enjoy water sports activities on Bentota beach and enjoy serene walk on the golden beach lined with beautiful palm trees.
Day 6: Bentota – Colombo
We will continue our journey to the commercial capital Colombo.
On arrival, we will explore the city with half day city tour.
After city tour you will be transferred to the airport for return journey.
