20Day 1: Mandu
Welcome to Mandu; the epitome of architectural excellence that our ancestors seemed to have achieved.
On Arrival, check into hotel and visit Ship palace, an amazing ship like structure surrounded by lakes by three sides. Beside this is Hindola Mahal also known as Swing Palace.
Other interesting sites you will visit are Jami Masjid and Hoshang Shah’s Tomb, constructed in 15th century and regarded as regarded as India's first marble tomb.
Day 2: Mandu
Today after Breakfast, proceed to see Baz Bahadur Palace, the edifice does not only display Islamic architectural styles but it also boasts of designs inspired from Rajasthani trends.
Then visit Rani Roopmati Mahal, the 72m high fort, is a magnificent expression of Afghan architecture in sandstone and provides beautiful views of surrounding.
Then seek blessings at Nilkantheshwar Temple, adorned with elegant designs carved out of large stones.
You can shop at local bazaar which offers ranges of items like wall pieces, attractive wall hangings, photo frames, hand painted coasters and other ethic items.
These artefacts show a stronger influence of History of the city.
At evening enjoy a splendid sunset at sunset point.
Day 3: Mandu – Maheshwar (Distance – 50 km)
It’s time to move to Maheshwar; “The Temple Town of Madhya Pradesh” and was the capital of Queen of the Maratha Malwa kingdom Rani Ahilyabai Holkar.
Visit beautiful Ahilyabai Ghat and Maheshwar Fort also known as Queen’s Fort and was the opulent palace of Rani Ahilyabai Holkar. This palace is the zenith of the Maratha architecture. The ancient monument also consists of temples dedicated to several incarnations of lord Shiva such as Ahilyeshwar & Kaleshwar Temple.
After visit, proceed for our return journey. Here our tour ends with Happy Memories…

In case of non-payment of the full tour cost or above mentioned cost before seven days of the departure, Duri Holidays reserves the right to cancel the tour imposing cancellation charges for the same.
